Winter Wedding Clandeboye Lodge Hotel Northern Ireland

Clandeboye-lodge-hotel-Wedding.jpg

I'd no idea when I photographed this wedding at The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel on a cold dark wintery day in February that it might be my only wedding of 2020! But if it is to be my only wedding this year, it sure was a great one.

The ceremony & reception were both held in the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel which describes itself as the 'perfect alternative' & I find it hard to disagree! Their beautifully restored 19th Century School House has so much to offer couples planning their weddings whether big or small.

I was blown away when I first saw the stunning timber arched Blackwood Suite & was so excited that Abigail & Garth had picked it for their ceremony. The dark timber arches are beautiful & create the most romantic and intimate setting. The attention to detail throughout the School House is amazing from the art work, wall colourings to soft furnishings this truly is a most see venue. Abigail & Garth opted to stay at Clandeboye for their photos which was a great choice on their day as it was cold & pretty wet but there are so many lovely locations near by that you could consider if you’re picking Clandeboye for your reception.
