Brides do good

Until yesterday I’d not heard about ‘Brides do good’ but I’ve recently reconnected with an old colleague online & she mentioned them in a post which sparked my interest so I headed over to check them out. Brides do good is a bridal boutique with a difference based in Fulham. They have a mission and that is to “protect the rights of girls everywhere”.

Throughout the world 12 million girls are married before they reach the age of 18 every year. Often these girls are denied the opportunity to choice their own futures and this is something that Brides do Good is working hard to change.

Their bridal boutique is a carefully curated collection of ethical gowns. Their handpicked collection is donated by brands & brides to encourage environmentally conscious bridal style. Their dresses are made up of new, samples & preloved gowns and come from an amazing selection of designers ranging from Hayley Paige to Jesus Peiro to Monqiue Lhuillier. The designers who choose to donate are all doing so because they care about empowering women.

Brides do good want brides to be able to afford their dream dress & their collection is up to 70% off RRP as they believe that “choosing to do good shouldn’t be an expensive choice”. They invest £1 in every £3 they make into charity projects that work to end child marriage and empower women. Their impact partners include Plan International UK, Safeguard Futures Ban Child Marriage Campaign and Huru International.

If you’re bridal shopping at present and think of yourself as a “conscious bride with the desire to be different” you totally should check them out Brides do good
